This page is dedicated to those who have helped me in this task of taking care of all the hounds here at Circle of Friends and operating the kennel. For a small donation per month, you too can become a foster mom or dad to a needy greyhound awaiting adoption or a hound that will call the farm his or her forever home.
For a small fee of 25.00 per month you can help take care of a homeless hound by feeding him/her and taking care of his/her medical needs

A Letter from Julie:
To everyone that has ever met me or been here to the kennel , they know "Mama Bear" the sweetest grey in the world, the one that mothers all and takes care of all the new hounds that come here and makes them feel at home.
We helped her pass to the bridge last Friday. February 23, 2007. She had a stroke in the night and was unable to walk. I thought as many times as I had done this I would be okay but, as we all know, you fall to pieces. She got a second chance at life as she was taken from a vet due to be put down after she was too old to breed any more. I got a call from states away saying, "Can you come get her?" and of course off I went. She was truly a dear soul.
I want to start a fund for the senior greys here. like Chris and all the other seniors who are here and those who are yet to come. We take so many seniors and a lot of groups will not take them as they are expensive to care for. A lot of people will not adopt them due to their age.
Please help us take care of senior greys and make a donation to the Mama Bear Senior fund. Thank you.
This is Hal. I've been with Mama Julie since Oct. 2006.
